Our centre aims to provide people with an insight in to the world of african violets, their care and cultivation. Visitors are able to wander around the nursery and see the vast display of African Violets at all stages of growth, from tiny plants to full grown plants, which are offered for sale.

This popular reserve on the north Norfolk coast has something for everyone. A walk from the visitor centre down to the sandy beach takes you past reedbeds and shallow lagoons, which are often full of birds. You can sit on benches or watch from spacious, wheelchair-accessible hides.

Sandringham House Museum & Grounds
Sandringham is the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 8,000-hectare Sandringham Estate, 240 hectares of which make up the woodland and heath of the Country Park, open to the public free of charge every day of the year.

Wander through Sheringham Park and you'll discover why it became the personal favourite of its designer, Humphry Repton. You can still see Repton's 'Red Book' showing his designs for the Park.
Sutton Bridge Golf Club
Sutton Bridge Golf Club, established in 1914 is a fine nine hole parkland golf course located in and around an abandoned late nineteenth century dock basin adjacent to the River Nene in South Lincolnshire.
Swaffham Golf Club
Swaffham Golf Club was established in 1922 as a 9 hole course. In September 2001 an additional 9 holes were opened, which transformed the course into an attractive and demanding 18 holes. Most of the new holes were carved out of an area of mature woodland and have blended well with the older part of the course. Being on Breckland the course remains well drained and on main greens when many other courses in the region are very muddy or closed.
The Brecks is a unique region of diverse habitats which support an impressive cross-section of British birds, offering exciting opportunities for the keen enthusiast. The star birds of the Brecks are the Stone Curlew, Woodlark and Nightjar.
The North Norfolk Railway
