One of our three Traditional Inns in the East of England, the Farmer’s Arms in South Wootton takes great pride in offering real ales and real food in a real pub environment.
Located next to the stylish Four Star Knights Hill Hotel & Spa and close to King’s Lynn, the pub is popular with visitors from across west Norfolk and beyond. Known for its warm welcome and an excellent carvery lunch, you are sure to enjoy your visit to the Farmer’s Arms Inn, whatever the weather.
The original building known as Rising Lodge was recorded on this site as long ago as 1588. It is possible that Knights Barn dates back to the 16th century but with some later additions and renovations. Certainly a wing of the main house dates to the 17th century and later buildings can be dated to the mid 18th and 19th centuries.
The original carrstone and pantile stables, byres and grain store now house the Farmer’s Arms Inn where you will find interesting local memorabilia.
